My last laptop was and still is the 2014 MacBook Pro. OS: Windows 10 (720p on Low Settings) Processor: AMD / Intel CPU, running at 3.4 GHz or higher: AMD FX 6000 series or Intel Core i5-3000 series or newer is recommended.

I imagine both computers are great, and one should just consider the cost difference and see if one can resist the Mac OS addiction. I like to use the touch screen when the mouse or touchpad isn't working as fast as I would like, such as scrolling down on screens. I will soon find out when I get my hands on a MacBook Pro for testing. I purchased it instead of the MacBook Pro 2021 (I prefer the Mac OS over Windows although Windows 11 is great) because it was less expensive than the new MacBook Pro by at least a thousand and it has a graphics card that has CUDA cores which I presume work better with Premiere Pro. The Z17 has a fairly great graphics card and it seems to never get hot under pressure, so far. If you want to add external peripherals, 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports support bi-directional transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s, while also supporting 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 and device charging. And it’s a really interesting experiment, because we must not forget one thing: The new MacBook Pro M1 is a relatively cheap laptop. For long-term storage of your files, this MacBook Pro is equipped with a 256GB SSD. Large 4Kfiles from a Panasonic GH5 aren't a problem. Of course a MacBook is not an ultra-high-end gaming PC, but, especially in the single player mode, everything over 40 FPS is well playable. I do own the MSI Z17 and it is lightning fast for all normal office work, when browsing, but really great for graphic work with Photoshop or Premiere Pro Videos. Both have metal chassis and the Z17 is built like a tank, yet seems sleekly designed like the Macbook Pro and has the same aspect ratio which is most important to me. Both the Macbook Pro and the MSI Creator Z17 are great computers, I presume.
